How do I know if my garage door spring is broken?
The most common signs are a loud bang from the garage, a door that won't lift (or the opener strains and stops), a gap in the coiled spring above the door, or a door that looks crooked or slams down. If you see any of these, stop using the door and call us; a broken spring makes the door very heavy and unsafe to lift by hand.
Should I repair or replace my garage door?
Most problems, like springs, cables, rollers and openers, are repairs. Replacement makes sense when panels are badly damaged, the door is very old or uninsulated, or repairs keep adding up. We'll look at it, tell you honestly what we see, and give you both options when both make sense.
Do you install and repair garage door openers?
Yes. We replace openers that have quit, install new ones with new doors, and can add an opener to a door that doesn't have one. Ask us which model fits your door and your budget.
